The Chinese tenor, Heming Cao, studied Applied Physics, Biophysics at Nankai University (Class of 2020). He currently studies Vocal Studies at Longy School of Music of Bard College (since September 2022; expected graduation: 2024).
Heming Cao has emerged on the vocal performance stage. His voice is warm, relaxed, and flexible. He is renowned for his consistent and grainy coloration. He has served as the lead singer for J.S. Bach's Mass in B minor BWV 232 (Cantata Singers, 2023), George Frideric Handel's Messiah, and others. He has also played lyrical tenor opera roles such as Nemorino in G. Donizetti's L'elisir d'amore and Ferrando in W.A. Mozart's Così fan tutte. His musical talent allows him to master the soft lyrical tenor works of any style and any period. He currently lives in Boston, Massachusetts, USA. |
