The Korean-born baritone, choir director, and organist, Adrian Cho, obtained his Bachelor of Science degree in Physics from Michigan State University (August 2006-May 2009; also studied Computational Mathematics); his Master of Science degree in Biomedical Engineering from Northwestern University (September 2010-December 2012); and his PhD degree in Speech & Hearing Biosciences and Technology from Harvard University (September 2016-March 2023).
Adrian Cho has been Choral Fellow at Memorial Church of Harvard University (September 2016-May 2019); Baritone at First Lutheran Church of Boston (September 2019-May 2020); Director of Music & Organist at Saint Peter's Episcopal Church in Cambridge, Massachusetts (since September 2022).
Adrian Cho has appeared as a soloist and an ensemble member with groups such as the Nightingale Vocal Ensemble, the Choir of the Church of the Advent, and the Choir of Trinity Church Boston, and has most recently played the role of Pontius Pilate in the production of J.S. Bach's Matthäus-Passion BWV 244 by Cantata Singers. He is passionate about contemporary sacred choral music as well as early music and has a special love for the works of J. S. Bach. He currently lives in Boston, Massachusetts. |
