The Polish tenor, Dominik Czernik, was as a boy chorister and soloist with the Poznańskich Słowików (Chóru Stuligrosza). He graduated from the Akademia Muzyczna im. Karola Szymanowskiego in Katowice, where he performed oboe. He completed his studies at the Akademii Muzycznej in Katowice, where he studied singing with Adam Szerszeń. He attended master-classes with Kałudi Kałudow and Ryszard Karczykowski. He is a laureate of numerous vocal competitions.
He has performed with numerous ensembles (including the Polish National Radio Symphony Orchestra, Polska Orkiestra Radiowa, Sinfonia Varsovia, NDR Radiophilharmonie Hannover, Wiener Symphoniker, Filharmonia Śląska in Katowice, NFM Wrocław Philharmonic, Filharmonia Poznańska, Filharmonia Krakowska, Wrocławska Orkiestra Barokowa, Floripari, Opera Śląska and Opera Wrocławska) on stages in Poland and Europe (including Italy, the Netherlands, Germany, and Austria). He is a regular member of Capella Cracoviensis. He has participated in the Beethoven Festival, Bregenzer Festspiele, Wratislavia Cantans, and Festiwal Bachowski Świdnica, among others. |
