The American bass-baritone, Anand Dharan, obtained his AB degree in Molecular Biology, cum laude, from Princeton University (2003-2007); and his MBA degree, with distinction, from Harvard Business School (2009-2011). Additionally, he holds the Chartered Financial Analyst designation.
Anand Dharan was Analyst at Lehman Brothers (July 2007-September 2008) and subsequently at Barclays Capital (September 2008-April 2009), where he structured derivative solutions to help corporate clients hedge fixed income market risk. Then he was an Engagement Manager at McKinsey & Company (August 2011-March 2015), where he served a variety of broker-dealers and asset managers, focusing on strategy and risk-management topics. Since March 2015, he is Managing Director in Wellington’s Fixed Income Product Management group in New York City. In this role, he is responsible for commercial strategy, external representation, and the integrity of the investment process for Wellington’s Multi-Sector Credit and sustainable fixed income platforms. He works closely with the investment teams and overseeing portfolio positioning, performance, and risk exposures, as well as developing new products and client solutions. He also meets extensively with clients, prospects, and consultants, both on the product platforms he represents and to facilitate broader conversations about fixed income markets.
Anand Dharan is a member of the CFA Institute and the CFA Society New York. He is Board Member at Cantata Singers (since June 2023). He currently lives in Boston, Massachusetts. |
