The German tenor, Reinaldo Dopp, studied in Halle a. d. Saale church music (exam 2001), and oratorio and Lieder singing with Elisabeth Baumgarten. In his studies he was particularly affected by his singing teacher and his speech educator Martina Haase and Klaus Eichhorn.
Reinaldo Dopp is especiaaly attracted to early music, as has been approven numerous times. In June 2002 he made his debut as as Lazarus in in the opera by Johann Heinrich Rolle at the Händel Halle Festival. He had already performed smaller solo parts since about 1998. Since finishing his studies he has worked together with renowned artists like the Leipzig Nikolaikantor Jürgen Wolf, the professor for early music Klaus Eichhorn and the cornetto player Arno Paducr. As an organist, Reinaldo Dopp has taken part in Baroque music projects (for example, with Ludger Rémy). |
