The Danish choral conductor, Margrete Enevold, studied with Professor Oren Brown from Juilliard School of Music, both in New York as his courses in Scandinavia - and with Susanna Eken, associate professor at the Royal. Danish Music Conservatory in Copenhagen.
Margrete Enevold is a lecturer at the Royal. Danish Music Conservatory as teacher of singing pedagogy, aural studies and children's choir methodology. She is the founder of the Children's Choir of the Royal Danish Academy of Music, which she directed from 1979 to 1999. She is also a member of the chamber choir Camerata for 20 years as choirist and soloist.
Margrete Enevold has even given numerous courses since 1985 in children's choir methodology and voice training in choral singing in Denmark, Norway, Sweden and USA. She was hired in 1991 by St. Olaf College in Minnesota, USA, as a singing teacher especially for singers at all levels. In June 1991, she was conductor, judge and consultant at the Golden Gate International Children's Choral Festival in San Francisco..
Margaret Enevold stopped in 1999 her work as conductor of the Children Choir. She is married to the conductor Per Enevold. |
