The Swedish bass, Carl-Olof Fägerlind, studied singing with Torsten Föllinger, Hans Gertz and Hugo Hasslo.
Carl-Olof Fägerlind now works as a singer on a freelance basis. In his home town of Stockholm and around the country, Carl-Olof Fägerlind has given concerts and was a soloist in oratorios and masses.
Among the dramatic roles, should be mentioned: Farmer in The Moon by Carl Orff, Betto di Signa in Gianni Schicci, Borgmästaren in Viktorias Husar, Bogomil in Tiggarstudenten and Patronen in Värmlänningarna, Herr Reich in The Merry Wives of Winsor, Sarastro in Die Zauberflöte, Commandatore in Don Giovanni, Sparafucile and The Count of Monterone in Verdi's Rigoletto, Antonio in The Marriage of Figaro by Mozart, Zuniga in Carmen, Basilio in The Barber of Seville by Rossini and Lindorf in Tales of Hoffmann by Offenbach. |
