The German soprano, Alice Fuder, studied singing and music education at the Musikhochschule Trossingen under Professor Andreas Reibenspies (Class of 2013), and then completed a Master's degree in Opera at the Stuttgarter Opernschule under Professor Ulrike Sonntag (2013-2016). She gained her first operatic experience as a guest at the Stadttheater Augsburg as Barbarina and Amalia-Bernadette, as well as in productions of the Stuttgarter Opernschule at the Wilhelma Theater. She has attended master-classes with Julie Kaufmann, Malcolm Walker, Noelle Turner, Emma Kirkby, and Margreet Honig. She is the first prize winner of the "Iris-Marquardt"-Wettbewerbs der Staatlichen Hochschule für Musik Trossingen and the winner of the Podiums Junger Gesangssolisten at the 18th Festival des Verbands Deutscher Konzertchöre.
At the 2015 Osterfestspielen at the Festspielhaus Baden-Baden, Alice Fuder performed as "Sophie" in a children's version of Richard Strauss' Der Rosenkavalier alongside members of the Berliner Philharmoniker. During the 2015-2016 season, she was engaged in the Junge Oper Stuttgart production of Schaf at the Kammertheater Stuttgart. From 2016 to 2018, she was a member of the soloist ensemble at the Stadttheaters Bremerhaven. Important roles there included Adele in Johann Strauss's Die Fledermaus, Musette in La Bohème, and Marzelline in L.v. Beethoven's Fidelio.
Alice Fuder's intensive engagement with oratorio literature led her to numerous solo experiences in sacred vocal music, enabling her to develop an extensive repertoire in this genre.
Alice Fuder has worked with renowned Baroque orchestras such as L'arpa festante and La Banda, as well as with the Südwestdeutschen Philharmonie Konstanz, Württembergischen Philharmonie Reutlingen, the Südwestdeutsches Kammerorchester Pforzheim, and Stuttgarter Kammerorchester, among others, with the Stadtkantorei Vaihingen, Liedertafel Dachau, Rottweiler Münstersängerknaben, Herdermer Vokalensemble, Evangelischen Stiftskirche Tübingen, Stiftskirche Baden-Baden, Lutherkirche Konstanz, Stiftskirche Stuttgart, Neue Musik "Utopie Jetzt" in Mühlheim, Rottenburger Dom St. Martin, and many others.
As a freelance artist, Alice Fuder currently works in opera and concert performances throughout Germany and as a vocal teacher in a variety of contexts. She currently lives in Rottweil. |
