The Swiss soprano, Sophie Graf, holds a harp diploma (class of Catherine Eisenhoffer), a law degree and a singing certificate from the Geneva Conservatory, where she was a pupil of Michèle Moser. She received the Jaccard-Villard Prize, as well as that of the Ernst Goehner Migros and Pro Arte foundations. She graduated with a Diploma and Post-Graduation in Vocals with Honors from the Guildhall School of Music & Drama in London.
Sophie Graf gives concerts in Switzerland, the UK and France. She takes part in the Poulenc and Kurt Weill Festival in London. She is currently following the 1st year of the opera course at the Royal Scottish Academy of Music & Drama in Glasgow. She recently obtained the Special Prize for French Opera from the Fondation des Saints Anges in Paris and participated in the semi-final of the Mozart competition which takes place in the UK. She has also won an engagement for the next Gstaad festival. |
