The Korean baritone, Soowon Han, began his studies as a counter-tenor at the National University in Pusan. In 2013 he switched to baritone with Locky Chung at Hanyang University in Seoul. In 2014 he won the special prize of the Korean Schubert Society, and in 2016 he completed his musical training at the Center de Musique Baroque de Versailles. Since 2019 he has been studying Lied/concert with Raimund Nolte at the Hochschule für Musik und Tanz Köln,, Aachen location. In 2020 he was a scholarship holder of the Stiftungen der Stadt Köln zur Förderung des Musikstudiums. In 2021 he was a scholarship holder of the Chorakademie des WDR Rundfunkchor Köln. With his partner the pianist Jeongro Park he forms Duo Han/Park, dedicated to performing Lieder recitals. |
