Hans Hauptmann (Bass)

Born: September 11, 1919 - Leipzig, Saxony, Germany
Died: December 30, 2006 - Altensteig, Baden-Württemberg, Germany

The German bass, Hans [Hannes] Hauptmann, was a member of the Thomanerchor Leipzig. After his studies at the Musikhochschule Leipzig, he was bass-soloist and choral voice trainer of the Thomanerchor Leipzig until 1961. Later he was choral voice trainer of the Laubacher Kantorei (1962-19??), and choral vocal coaching of the Christophorus-Kantorei Altensteig until 1982.
