The German tenor, Markus Heinrich, took from 1986 to 1989 singing lessons with Anita Richartz-Freitag. In 1988 he won the Prize of the Verbandes Deutscher Musikerzieher und konzertierender Künstler. Until 1995 he studied at the Hochschule für Musik und Darstellende Kunst in Frankfurt am Main with Professor Tasch Ohlsson.
Markus Heinrich participated in opera productions at the Kammeroper Frankfurt, the Bad Hersfelder Festspielen and the Kaaseler Musiktagen. A busy concert career has taken him, among other things, to Russia, Canada, Israel and France. Since the 1995-1996 season he has been an ensemble member at the Vereinigten Städtischen Bühnen Krefeld und Mönchengladbach, where he has been heard in roles as Pedrillo, Monostatos, Jaquino, Graf Stanislaus and Kammerdiener in Bilbao's Fräulein Julie, Wenzel in Die verkaufte Braut (The Bartered Bride), Petrus in Jesus Christ Superstar, Egon von Wildenhagen in Der Vetter aus Dingsda, and Arzt in Der Untergang des Hauses Usher. |
