The American baritone, Jacob Huffty, obtained his Bachelor of Music degreein Vocal Performence from Loyola University New Orleans (2021-2025).
Jacob Huffty made his Symphony of New Orleans debut in Ralph Vaughan Williams' Fantasia on Christmas Carols in 2023, and made his Louisiana Philharmonic Orchestra debut as the baritone soloist in Johannes Brahms' Ein Deutsches Requiem (November 2024). He recently received the Encouragement award from the Metropolitan Opera Competition (February 2025), and his professional debut at Mobile Opera in W.A. Mozart's Le Nozze di Figaro. This past summer he appeared in Francis Poulenc's Dialogues des Carmelites as the Marquis and as Nardo in filosofo di campagna with FIO ITALIA in Urbania, Italy. |
