The German tenor, Rüdiger (Bernd) Husemeyer, began his singing training with Kammersängerin Christa Lehnert at the Musikhochschule in Karlsruhe. This was followed by further studies with Professor Arthur Janzen and Gerd Türk at the Musikhochschule Köln and the Musikhochschule Basel. He attended master-classes on Bach interpretations in Stuttgart and Leipzig, in co-operation with Helmuth Rilling and others.
Rüdiger Husemeyer is a professional concert singer since July 1989. He has given concerts in Germany and abroad, and his repertoire includes all the major oratorios from different eras, numerous Bach cantatas and other sacred works, arias from opera, operetta and musicals and Lieder by J.S. Bach, L.v. Beethoven, Johannes Brahms, Felix Mendelssohn, Schubert and Robert Schumann. |
