The Russian bass singer, pianist and composer, Pyotr Evgenievich Ivanov (Russian: Иванов Пётр Евгеньевич), graduated from the St. Petersburg State Conservatory named after Rimsky-Korsakov in 2019, class in composition with S. M. Slonimsky. He graduated from Graduate School at the St. Petersburg State Conservatory named after Rimsky-Korsakov in 2021, studying composition with A.Yu. Radvilovich. At the same time, he studied singing at the Conservatory School-Studio with V.N. Gagen (2018-2020). He is Winner of the “Tchaikovsky. Symphony" Competition (2020); Winner of 1st Prize at the “Golden Sound 2020” Competition in the “Alternative” category; Winner of 3rd Prize at the ImproClassic Competition (academic improvisation competition) (2020); Winner of 3rd Prize at the Tsarskoye Selo Vocal Competition (2020)
Pyotr Ivanov has participated in such music festivals as Sound Paths, Echo of Taurida, Tavrida, Winter Festival of Arts by Yu. Bashmet in Sochi, participant of the musical projects “Classic electric”, “Music written today”. He is active in concert activities as a composer, improvising pianist and singer.
Pyotr Ivanov is composer of vocal, instrumental, symphonic music, as well as music for the theater (performances “Monk’s Well” for the “House of Schroeder” and “The Unwritten Play of A.P. Chekhov” for “Site 51” in St. Petersburg) and cinema (Short film One Thousand and One Bottoms directed by Foma Popov, promotional video for a virtual excursion for the Alexandrinsky Theater in VR technology). |
