The American contralto and flautist, Kris Kautzman, obtained her Bachelor of Arts in Musicology from St. Olaf College (1990-1994).
Kris Kautzman is active as a freelance alto singer and flautist since June 1994. She has been a vocal and instrumental chamber musician in the Twin Cities for two decades, basking mostly in Early Music and all the wonderful people who make up this community. She is ooking forward to new musical adventures this year, including my first season with the Bach Society of Minnesota and some jazz standards around town with my better half, singer/songwriter Charley Dush. As a working musician she has cobbled together an enjoyable career of performing and increasingly advanced corporate/nonprofit administration. Fascinated with strategy and potential, I’m driven to hear each organization's story and to learn what makes each organization tick.
