The Korean soprano, Mi-Young Kim, studied singing at the Kyungwon University in Korea with Profesor Sangnyung Lee, opera singing at the Musikhochschule ''Hanns-Eisler'' in Berlin with Professor Renate Faltin and Profesor Julia Varady. She attended master-classes with Professor Dr. Dietrich Fischer-Dieskau, Professor Julia Varady and Professor Mirella Freni.
Mi-Young Kim has opera performances as Queen of the Night and Pamina in W.A. Mozart's Die Zauberflöte and Konstanze in W.A. Mozart's Die Entführung aus dem Serail. As a concert soloist, she debuted with George Frideric Handel's oratorio Messiah. From the 2011-2012 season she has been permanent post in the RIAS-Kammerchor. |
