The American soprano, Patricia C. Kopko, obtained her Bachelor of Arts degree in both Music and Chemistry from Smith College (2011-2015)); and her Master of Music degree in Vocal Performance from the Longy School of Music (2018-2020), where she was also Teaching Assistant.
Praised as a singer “with sensitivity” and the voice “of a mature musician” (Daily Hampshire Gazette), Patricia Kopko is specializing in opera, art song, and choral singing. As a performer, she believes in the importance of the shared experience music creates. She is committed to telling a variety of stories through music, sharing both beloved favorites and little-known treasures. In Boston, she has performed with the North End Music and Performing Arts Center, Longwood Opera, Winsor Music, and the Harvard Early Music Society. She is a member of the Cantata Singers and has previously sung with the Metropolitan Chorale and the chorus of Odyssey Opera.
Patricia Kopko has worked at New England Conservatory of Music in Boston as: Department Coordinator, Preparatory School (February 2016-July 2018); Temporary Department Coordinator, Preparatory School (December 2018-May 2019); Advancement Coordinator (October 2020-November 2021); Assistant Director of Advancement Operations (November 2021-December 2022); Associate Director of Campaign Operations (December 2022-February 2024)); Director of Advancement Operations (since February 2024). She is currently the director of the handbell choir at United Parish in Brookline. She is based in Boston, Massachusetts. |
