The Japanese bass-baritone, Yohei Koto (Japanese: 小藤 洋平), graduated in Vocal Music from Kunitachi College of Music in Japan. He completed the Diploma course at the SHOBI College of Music and then studied at Hamburger Konservatorium in Germany. He was Finalist at the 12th Yuai German Song Competition.
Yohei Koto is specializing in classical, early music, and sacred repertoire. He frequently performs as a soloist in works by J.S. Bach and George Frideric Handel. He is an active member of prominent Japanese choral and early-music ensembles, including: Salicus Kammerchor (サリクス・カンマーコア), Coro Libero Classico (コーロ・リベロ・クラシコ), HFJ Canons Concert Chamber Choir. Past performances include notable appearances include singing at St. Stephen's Cathedral in Vienna. |
