The Bulgarian bass Viktor Krastanov, was one of the 4 winners of the 2021 Boris Christoff Foundation Scholarships: He has performed such roles as roles as Lodovico in Verdi's Othello at Lirica in Piazza (2022); Commendatore (Commendatore) in W.A. Mozart's Don Giovanni at Lirica in Piazza (2022); Il dottor Grenvil (Dottore Grenvil) in Verdi's La Traviata at Lirica in Piazza (2022); Bass in Rossini's Stabat Mater at Istituto Italiano di Cultura- Sofia (2022); Il Commendatore (Commendatore) in W.A. Mozart's Don Giovanni at Music and Drama Theatre "Konstantin Kisimov" (2023-2024); Un Araldo reale (Royal Herald) in Verdi's Don Carlo (Italian version) at Sofia Opera and Ballet (2024).
