While still at school, he became a member of the Deutschen Jugendkammerchor and won several national prizes in the vocal ensemble and organ categories of "Jugend musiziert". After school, he began studying church music in the summer of 2015 at the Musikhochschule Freiburg with Professor Martin Schmeding and Professor Matthias Maierhofer (Bachelor of Church Music degree: 2015-2020). He received further inspiration from Georg Grün, Vincent Dubois and Andrew Parrott. After completing his studies in Germany (2020), he began studying singing at the Zürcher Hochschule with Professor Werner Güra (Bachelor of Music degree in Voice & Opera: 2020-2022). He is a scholarship holder of the Cusanuswerk, the study funding organization of the Deutschen Bischofskonferenz, and the Richard-Wagner-Verbandes Freiburg.
