The Canadian soprano, teacher and acupuncturist, Roseline Lambert, obtained her Bachelor's degree in Music Performance from Université Laval (2006-2009); and her Master's degree in Music Performance from Université de Montréal (2010-2012). She has participated in many celebrated summer programs such as the Académie Francis Poulenc (Tours, France), the Tafelmusik Baroque Summer Institute (Toronto, Canada), the Britten-Pears Young Artist Programme (Aldeburgh, Angleterre), as well as the Toronto Summer Music Academy (Toronto). Ms. Lambert received grants from the Jeunesses Musicales Canada Foundation, the Canadian Aldeburgh Foundation and the Toronto Summer Music Academy.
Roseline Lambert was in high demand in Montreal. She made her operatic debut performing a stunning Musetta in G. Puccini's La Bohème produced by Opéra Immédiat (Montreal, Canada). After that, she was invited to sing the angel Gabriel in Haydn’s Creation, conducted by Maestro Louis Lavigueur, and took part, as a soloist, in Carmina Burana, under the direction of Andrew Megill (Orchestre Symphonique de Montréal). In the fall of 2014, she was on tour singing Norina G. Donizetti's Don Pasquale with Jeunesses Musicales Canada.
Known for her charisma and musicality, soprano Roseline Lambert quickly made her way into the Baroque scene of Toronto. She regularly sings with Opera Atelier, Trinity Bach Project, Theatre of Early Music (Director: Daniel Taylor), and she is a core member of the Tafelmusik Chamber Choir. Her Baroque repertoire includes works such as J.S. Bach's Wedding Cantata BWV 202, J.S. Bach's Cantata Ich bin vergnügt BWV 84, Dietrich Buxtehude's Membra Jesu Nostri, J.S. Bach's Motet Jesu, meine Freude BWV 227, J.S. Bach's Motet Singet dem Herrn ein neues Lied BWV 225. She is also a founding member of Lazzuli Baroque, an ensemble that specializes in Italian madrigals.
Roseline Lambert also made an impressive performance in the Pop-classical concert "Les Trois Accords Symphonique". Presented by the OSM in the fall 2014 under the direction of Simon Leclerc, this concert was warmly welcomed by more than 30,000 people as part of the Just for laughs Festival of Montreal in summer 2015.
Roseline Lambert is also a Registered Acupuncturist. She obtained her Diploma of Acupuncture and Moxibustion, Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine from Eight Branches Academy of Eastern Medicine (2016-2019). She has worked as Administrative Assistant (September 2018-March 2020) and tStudent Acupuncturist (October 2019-March 2020) at Pao Family Wellness; Teacher at Eight Branches College of Eastern Medicine (September
2020-April 2021); Registered Acupuncturist at Yellow Gazebo Natural Health Care (September 2020-July 2022); Registered Acupuncturist at Mahaya Health Services (since July 2020). |
