The Spanish mezzo-soprano, Ángela Lindo is currently pursuing undergraduate studies, graduating with top honors, and a Master's degree in Operatic Performance at the Conservatorio Superior de Música "Joaquín Rodrigo" in Valencia, under the tutelage of Professor Gloria Fabuel. She has complemented her training with master-classes from renowned professionals such as Rubén Fernández Aguirre, Claudia Marchi, Rubén Sánchez Vieco, Donatella Debollini, Fausto Nardi, Willem Wentzel, and María José Montiel. In 2024, she was a finalist and received the Premio Extraordinario Cultural Albacete at the VI Concurso Nacional de Canto :Ciudad de Albacete".
Ángela Lindo is one of Valencia's most promising mezzo-sopranos. Over the past year, she has performed various operatic roles on prominent stages throughout Spain. She participated in the production of Francis Poulenc's Dialogues des Carmélites at the Palau de les Arts Reina Sofía in Valencia, where she sang the roles of Carmelite and Nun, under the stage direction of Robert Carsen and the musical direction of Riccardo Minasi. She also performed the role of Il Barone Macacco in Manuel García's I tre gobbi at the Teatro de la Maestranza in Seville, with musical direction by Rubén Fernández Aguirre and stage direction by José Luis Arellano.
Among the roles Ángela Lindo has performed on stage are Orlofsky in Strauss' Die Fledermaus, the Marchesa Melibea in Rossini's Il viaggio a Reims, and La Libellule in Ravel's L’enfant et les sortilèges. She has also performed as a soloist with the Orquesta de Badajoz at the Convento del Palancar and with the Orquesta Filarmónica de Extremadura at the Festival de Música Clásica de Monfragüe.
With a promising career ahead of her, Ángela Lindo continues to perfect her vocal technique and consolidate her presence in the field of opera. |
