The Spanish soprano, Sara López Porta, began her musical studies at the age of 8t at the Conservatorio Profesional de Música de Valencia, where she studied recorder. Later, at the age of 13, she enrolled in the voice program, where she completed her professional studies. She has studied with various teachers, including Daniel Gascó, Emilia Onrubia, Ofelia Sala and Donatella Saccardi. She has also participated in courses and master-classes with Fiorenza Cedolins, Giulio Zappa, Isabel Rey, Raffaele Cortesi, Lucy Arner, and Mariella Devia, among others. In 2018, she won the Fundación Victoria de los Ángeles Prize at the 2nd Concurso de Canto Josep Palet in Martorell. In December 2019, she won 1st Prize at the 95th edition of the Concurso Juventudes Musicales de España, which led to a concert tour of various theaters throughout Spain.
In 2021, Sara López gave the world premiere of a cycle by composer Juan Durán: the Cinco Miniaturas Machadianas. During the 2021-2022 academic year, she studied at the Conservatorio Arrigo Boito in Parma with Donatella Saccardi. In July 2022, she made her debut as a soloist in L.v. Beethoven's Symphony No. 9 at the Sala Sinfónica del Auditorio Lienzo Norte with the Orquesta Sinfónica de Ávila and the Coro de la Filarmonía. In August 2022, she debuted the role of Despina in W.A. Mozart's Così fan tutte at the Castello Ducale Corigliano Calabro. |
