The American soprano, Rebecca (Becky) Lowe-Weyand, graduated from St Olaf College in Northfield, Minnesota with a degree in music.
Rebecca Lowe-Weyand sang professionally around the Midwest for decades (November 1994-May 2022). She is a co-founder, soprano section leader, and board member of Résonance Voices, an a capella ensemble in Omaha, Nebraska (April 2012-December 2020); she is still on the roster, but not currently serving in a role at the organization. She also performs with instrumentalists in styles that range from early music and opera to jazz and musical theater. including the Dale Warland Singers in Minneapolis, North Star Opera in St. Paul, Minnesota, Valley Chamber Chorale in Stillwater, Minnesota, Minnesota Opera, Opera Omaha, Abendmusik at First-Plymouth and Sounding Light in Lincoln, Cathedral Arts Project, and Trinity Episcopal Cathedral in Omaha (Staff Singer: January 2008-May 2022; also provided leadership for the music program). She also gave Freelance Publishing Services in Omaha (October 2005-December 2020).
Rebecca Lowe-Weyand is currently retired from singing and focusing on her family and other pursuits. Since October 2020, she is Donor Relations Coordinator & Fundraising Assistant at Mid-America Council, BSA. |
