The German soprano, Rahel Luserke, received During her school years singing lessons from Professor Henriette Meyer-Ravenstein in Munich, where she also studied the Alexander Technique with Daniel Süsstrunk for several years. In 2006, she began her studies in singing/vocal pedagogy with Donna Woodward at the Hochschule für Musik und Darstellende Kunst in Frankfurt, graduating with distinction. This was followed by studies in the areas of Lied and concert performance in the class of Professor Snezana Stamenkovic at the Musikhochschule in Mannheim, where she also attended the opera school. She has completed private studies and master-classes with Laurie Reviol, Carol Meyer-Bruetting, Helen Donath, and Rudolf Piernay, among others.
Rahel Luserke's career as a concert soloist has taken her throughout Germany. She has performed with the Barockorchester LŽarpa festante and the Münchner Sinfonikern. Her repertoire includes major oratorio roles from the Baroque to the modern era, where she was most recently heard in Peter Reulein's Sternstunde, as well as various Lieder recital programs. She has performed at the Oper Frankfurt, Nationaltheater Mannheim, Festspielhaus Baden Baden, Heidelberger Kammermusikfestival, Gasteig München, Südhessischen Kultursommer, and in various European countries. In the field of Lieder, she works closely with her pianist Cornelia Weiß. |
