The American soprano, Kimberly (Kim, Kimi) Ann Larmouth Macdonald, is a double alumna of Boston University, earned her Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in Graphic Design magna cum laude from the College of Fine Arts, and her Master of Sceince degree in Advertising with nearly a 4.0 from the College of Communication, graduating in 2004.
Kim Macdonald was a vice president and manager of creative services at Loomis, Sayles & Company, where she managed a corporate re-branding across seven global offices and oversaw creation and implementation of new designs and graphics throughout the firm’s digital and print materials.
Kim Macdonald serves as Director of Marketing & Communication at at Boston University School of Theology (STH). Here she leads communications, marketing, and content creation efforts A creative and strategic professional, she has two decades of experience in brand and social media management, distribution strategy, content development, and enrollment marketing. At STH, she has shaped the brand of the School, implemented a solid communications infrastructure, launched new marketing initiatives, and is committed to telling authentic stories that uphold STH’s prophetic legacy and vision.
Outside of STH, Kim Macdonald serves on the board of directors for both Wanakee and the Boston Choral
Ensemble (since 2023). In addition, she is a longtime member of Boston University’s Marsh Chapel Choir (Director: Scott Allen Jarrett) and serves as a lecturer at the College of Communication. She has run four marathons and completed 19 triathlons, and enjoys open water swimming at nearby Walden Pond during the summer months. Her current hobbies include painting and drawing, watching historical documentaries, and spending time with her husband and two children. |
