The French soprano, Anne Magouët, has had extensive literary and musical studies as an artist, before she began singing studies at the Conservatoire National de Région de Nantes, where she won gold medals in singing, early music, and singing and lyric art award in Annie Tasset's class. She then perfected with Alain Buet. In 2013, she was inducted into the la Confrérie des Chevaliers du Tastevin.
Anne Magouët performs in both recital and solo soprano, invited by ensembles such as Stradivaria, Les Traversées Baroques, Les Ombres, Concerto Soave, La Grande Écurie et la Chambre du Roy (Director: Jean-Claude Malgoire), Les Folies Françoises, Les Passions, Mensa Sonora, Le Galilei Consort, Les Sacqueboutiers de Toulouse, Pierre Robert, Le Poème Harmonique, Sit Fast, Ensemble Jacques Moderne (Director: Joël Suhubiette), Le Concert Spirituel, and many others.
In addition to her classical repertoire, from Renaissance to contemporary music, Anne Magouët has been involved in various projects with jazz musicians, including David Chevallier (Gesualdo Variations, Double Dowland, Sit Fast and Fear Not, Emotional Landscapes), Alban Darche, Dominique Pifarély, Marc Ducret and pianist Gerardo Jerez Le Cam. |
