The American counter-tenor singer, National parks expert and endurance athlete, Mikah Meyer, obtained his Bachelor of Music degree in Voice Performance from University of Memphis (2005-2009); and his Master of Music degree in Voice Performance from McGill University, funded as a Rotary International Ambassadorial Scholar (2009-2011). He also pursued Artist Performance Diploma in Voice at Conservatoire de Musique du Québec à Montréal (2009-2011).
Mikah Meyer was Professional Singer at Washington National Cathedral choirs (April 2012-December 2017). Since 2007, he has been Professional Soloist and Chorister with Memphis Symphony Orchestra and with numerous other musical ensembles/organizations in the USA and Canada; Only solo Artist-In-Residence with Minnesota's largest United Methodist Church (Hennepin Avenue) slate of musical acts; Developed multiple shows ranging from educational cabarets for school children, Lecture Recitals, full-length improvised musicals, and a "National Parks Cabaret" performed across the USA to fund a world record national parks journey; Private voice teacher, classical and musical theater. He exemplifies Rotary's unity messaging and has devoted his life to helping people find common ground, whether in his hometown of Lincoln, Nebraska or on the steps of the Lincoln Memorial completing world records.
