The Canadian soprano, violinist and music teacher, Tamara Mitchell, obtained her Bachelor's degree in Music (2003-2007), her Master of Education degree in Teacher Education (2007-2009), and her Bachelor of Education degree in Teacher Education - all from University of Toronto.

Tamara Mitchell has been active as a soprano singer and violinist since 2000 and works as French Immersion Teacher at Toronto District School Board (TDSB) - Primary and Secondary Education since September 2010. She currently lives in Toronto, Ontario
