The American tenor, Ryan Nash, obtained his holds a Bachelor of Music degree in Vocal Performance from the University of Massachusetts Amherst; and his Master of Music degree in Voice Performance from the University of Wisconsin-Madison (2024), where he studied with Dr. Julia Rottmayer.
Ryan Nash's University of Massachusetts Opera roles include Albert (Benjamin Britten's Albert Herring and Mercurio in La Calisto. He also sang F. Schubert's complete song cycle Die Schöne Müllerin in the 2024 Schubertiade with pianist Aubrie Jacobson (January 2024). Currently he is a Madison Opera Studio Artist, where he made his debut as the Sergeant in The Barber of Seville (November 2024); and later Don Ottavio (cover) in W.A. Mozart's Don Giovanni. He also performed the role of Tamino in Opera For The Young production of W.A. Mozart's The Magic Flute (December 2024). |
