Rebekka Neetz (Mezzo-soprano) |
Born: Stuttgart, Baden-Württemberg, Germany |
The German mezzo-soprano and singing teacher, Rebekah Neetz, completed her singing studies at the Musikhochschule Mannheim with Yumiko Koyama and Professor Snezana Stamenkovic, as well as in master-classes with Eva Blachova and Marie-Paul Hallard. This was followed by a private collaboration with mezzo-soprano Ursula Filge-Kroh.
Already during her studies Rebekah Neetz began to gain first teaching experience as a music teacher. In addition to her work as a lecturer at the VHS in Sindelfingen, she works as a freelance singing teacher for choir voice training.
Since 2009, Rebekah Neetz is a member of the Gächinger Kantorei Stuttgart (Directors: Helmuth Rilling & Hans-Christoph Rademann) and has sung with them under renowned conductors such as Helmuth Rilling, Hans-Christoph Rademann, Alexander Liebreich and Vladimir Ashkenazy. In addition, she is also successful as a soloist, for example in 2010 in J.S. Bach's Magnificat (BWV 243) under the direction of Stefan Parkman at the Stuttgart Liederhalle. |
