The German contralto, Claudia Nüsse, was member Landesjugendorchester NRW from 1984 to 1987, and from 1987 to 1991 was member of the Weltjugendorchester. From 1990 to 1994 she was violin teacher at the Städtischen Musikschule Paderborn, and since participated regularly in the Gächinger Kantorei Stuttgart and in the Arnold Schoenberg Chor Vienna. Since 1992 she participation in international master-classes with Elisabeth Schwarzkopf, Mitsuko Shirai, Hartmut Höll, Kurt Widmer. In 1994 she was scholarship holder of the of the Deutschen Akademischen Austauschdienstes Bonn. Currently she is a member of the the WDR Rundfunkchor Köln (Director: Stefan Parkman).
In 1994 Claudia Nüsse sang the role of Cherubino at the Landestheater Detmold. Since 1994 she has had numerous soloist appearances in the areas of Lieder and oratorios. She gave Lieder recitals in the donation of Kunst und Kultur NRW (North-Rhine/Westphalia), Düsseldorf, production with the WDR Köln with songs of Dmitri Shostakovich for alto and orchestra. J.S. Bach's Weihnachts-Oratorium (BWV 248) at the Oetkerhalle Bielefeld. In 1995 she was first-prize winner with the singing competition of the Yamaha music Foundation of Europe. |
