The Italian bass, Alberto Peretti, began studying opera singing with Maestro Alberto Spadarotto at the Istituto Musicale Veneto Città di Thiene, and was prepared by him for admission to the Conservatorio di Vicenza in September 2017. He attended the three-year program in "Renaissance and Baroque Singing" at the Conservatorio di Vicenza, studying with Maestro Gemma Bertagnolli and Maestro Marco Scavazza, completing the three-year program in July 2022. He is currently in the final year of the two-year program in "Renaissance and Baroque Singing" with Maestro Marco Scavazza.
Over the years, Alberto Peretti has collaborated in various productions and sung with Maestro Margherita Dalla Vecchia, Maestro Enrico Zanovello, Maestro Andrea Marcon, Maestro Sergio Gasparella, Maestro Lorenzo Feder, Maestro Alessandro Quarta, Maestro Gianluca Capuano, Maestro Federico Maria Sardelli, and Maestro Umberto Benedetti Michelangeli.
In October 2022, he distinguished himself by performing the bass parts in Georg Philipp Telemann's Cantata Du Aber Daniel, gehe hin and J.S. Bach's Cantata BWV 106, conducted by Maestro Stefano Bagliano, with several performances in Milan, Genoa, Vigevano, and Vicenza. In the same month, he performed Tancredi in Monteverdi's Il Combattimento di Tancredi e Clorinda in the Apollonian Halls of the Teatro Fenice. In May 2023, he performed the bass solo parts in J.S. Bach's Motet BWV 227 and Cantata BWV 64 at the Teatro Olimpico, conducted by Maestro Sigiswald Kuijken. In May 2024 he performed the role of Jesus in J.S. Bach's Johannes-Passion BWV 245, conducted by M. Patrick Ayrton, at the Teatro Olimpico; in the same month he took part in the concerts conducted by M. Enrico Zanovello, of George Frideric Handel's oratorio Sansone, HWV 57, never performed before in Italy, with repeats in Trento, Vicenza and Verona. |
