Bogdan Petrenko (Bass-Baritone)

Born: Moscow, Russia

The Russian bass-baritone, Bogdan Petrenko [Russian: Богдан Петренко], graduated from the Choral School named after A.V. Sveshnikov (class of Anatoly Kislyakov) and the Academy of Choral Art named after V.S. Popov (class of Alexei Petrov) with a degree in choral conducting (Class of 2009). During his studies and after graduation he was a soloist and leader of a vocal ensemble Vocademica, worked as a choir-master in the Moscow Regional Choir named after A.D. Kozhevnikov. Since 2013, he has been working in the Moscow Boys' Choir of School No. 1234, currently the artistic director of the group. In 2021 he was awarded the Moscow City Prize in the field of education. He currently lives in Moscow, Russia.
