The Austrian mezzo-soprano and singing teacher, Petra Plattner, completed her studies in music and dance education at the Orff-Institut Mozarteum Salzburg (October 2015-October 2019), which she successfully completed with a focus on singing and music and dance in social work. In 2019 she began her bachelor's degree in vocal education at the Universtät Mozarteum Salzburg in the class of Regina Sgier. From autumn 2021 she continued her studies with Kerstin Turnheim and successfully completed them in January 2024. She is currently studying for a master's degree in vocal education at the Universtät Mozarteum Salzburg, where she continues to study with Kerstin Turnheim. She has completed master-classes with Peter Peinstingl, Peter Berne, Piotr Lykowski and Monika Kolasa-HladiŽkovaŽ, among others.
During her studies Petra Plattner has participated in productuins on the Universität Mozarteum. In addition to her participation in choir projects during her studies, she regularly performs with the Salzburger Bachchor, Verein OPERAtors, Ensemble BachWerkVokal Salzburg (Director: Gordon Safari) and in various ensemble formats and performs as a soloist in masses. Since September 2024, she teaches at the Landesmusikschule Mattighofen. She currently lives in Schlaiten, Tirol, Austria. |
