The choral conductor, Rosemarie Pritzkat, finished her studies at the Hamburger Hochschule für Musik with A-exam for church music and the artistic diploma in the concert subject organ. She put her artistic emphasis particularly on early music with master-classes in her homeland and abroad.
Beside concert activity and guest lectures for organ, choir directing and voice building, Rosemarie Pritzkat performed big oratorios from 1981 to 1991 with the Harburger Kantorei, led from 1988 to 1995 the Norddeutsche Brahms-Ensemble, and created in 1995 the Cantabile Hamburg as a vocal ensemble. In the a-cappella range she became repeated winner with her choirs on German and international competitions.
In 1991 Rosemarie Pritzkat took over at the main church St. Nikolai the direction of the Hamburger Knabenchor, advanced it persistently to perform a-cappella music and big oratorios, and developed a special concept for chorister and soloist voice building. |
