Andrew Redmond (Bass)

Born: Dublin, Ireland

The Irish bas, Andrew Redmond, studied at Newbridge College, Ireland (1987-1992); and Engineering at University College Dublin (UCD) Ireland (September 1992-April 1995). He obtained his Bachelor of Music degre from the Royal Irish Academy of Music in Dublin (RIAM), with Dr. Veronica Dunne (1995-2000); and completed his studies he at the Richard-Strauss-Konservatorium (Hochschule für Musik und Theater München) in Munich, with Kari Lövaas and Krisztina Láki (2001-2004).

In Ireland, Andrew Redmond has already participated in several concerts with, among others in George Frideric Handel's Messiah and J.S. Bach's St. Matthew Passion (BWV 244). Since 2002 he is a freelancer in the Bayerischer Rundfunkchor; since February 2005, he is member of the member of the RIAS-Kammerchor. He currently lives in Berlin, Germany.
