The German soprano, Julia-Christina Rohrig, already received her first instrumental lessons on violin and piano. already at the age of 6 She was only at the age of 13 ehen she began her solo vocal training and at the same time participated in choirs and vocal ensembles. The multiple-time Jugend-Musiziert winner received singing lessons with Professor Renate Stoll and Silvia Klauder in solo and ensemble singing at the Hochschule für Musik Saar. There she studied school music, music education and music management with the main subjects singing and violin. Through numerous master-classes, among others with Professor Barbara Schlick, Professor Edda Moser and Simone Kermes, she has perfected her studies. She currently receives further musical impulses from Professor Dr. Alejandro Ramirez (Hochschule für Musik und darstellende Kunst Mannheim).
Julia-Christina Rohrig is active as a concert and oratorio singer, as well as a dedicated vocal pedagogue.
