Maria Francesca Rossi (Soprano)

Born: 1996 - Modena, Emilia-Romagna, Italy

The Italian soprano, Maria Francesca Rossi, graduated with honors in opera singing at the Istituto Superiore di Studi Musicali Vecchi-Tonelli in Modena under the guidance of Katja Lytting (2015-2019). She took part in three editions of the Vocal Technique and Interpretation Master-class held by Katja Lytting and Mario Malagnini in Gardone Riviera, in the Master-class held by M° Leone Magiera at the ISSM Vecchi-Tonelli in February 2021 and in the Master-class held by soprano Cinzia Forte in July 2022. She graduated in Management Engineering with an Industrial focus from the from University of Modena and Reggio Emilia (2016-2018), and is currently attending the two-year II level course in opera singing at the Istituto Superiore di Studi Musicali Vecchi-Tonelli in Modena. She is a student of Raina Kabaivanska in her annual advanced master-class in Modena. In April 2024, she was awarded 2nd Prize at the Biennial International Opera Singing Competition "Milton Marelli" in Mirandola (Modena).

Since 2018 Maria Francesca Rossi has been a solo soprano of the Cappella Musicale del Duomo di Modena, with which she has performed numerous sacred works as a soloist. She made her debut at the Teatro Comunale Luciano Pavarotti in Modena and at the Teatro Comunale in Carpi in the role of Adina in Gaetano Donizetti's L’Elisir d’Amore, and has also performed the complete opera at the Casa Museo Luciano Pavarotti and in Bologna with the Senzaspine orchestra. She has performed in concerts at the Foyers of the Teatro Comunale in Modena and Mirandola, the Circoli Lirici in Bologna, Modena and Carpi, the Villa Museo Molinari Pradelli (BO), and the Vittoriale degli Italiani (BS).
