The American baritone, Martin Ryan, graduated from Boston College with Bachelor’s degrees in Music and Mathematics (2018-2022). Within his musical studies, he concentrated on vocal performance and composition - notably studying with Ralf Yusuf Gawlick. He was a member of the Boston College University Chorale and Chamber Singers under the direction of John Finney and served as a member of the organization’s executive board. Additionally, he was a vocalist and pianist in the Boston College Chamber Music Society, conducted the Boston College Marching Band (2018-July 2020), and performed with and alongside other prominent Boston-based ensembles such as the Back Bay Chorale and Boston Pops.
Martin Ryan has sung as a baritone soloist in numerous works, including W.A. Mozart's Mass in C major and Francesco Durante's Magnificat in B flat major. He is honored and thrilled to participate in the liturgical music program at Saint Cecilia Parish. He has worked at the Bank of America in Boston as Wealth Management Summer Analyst (Internship: June 2021-August 2021) and as Rotational Analyst (since June 2022). |
