Hubert Saladin (Tenor, Bass)

Born: Switzerland

The Swiss tenor/Bass, Hubert Saladin, studied at the Universität Zürich (psychology) and at the Konservatorium Zürich (solo singing with Kathrin Graf). He received study prizes, and continued his training in several directions, particularly substantial singing studies with Peter Elkus (New York) and Margreet Honig (Amsterdam).

Hubert Saladin has concert activity with wide range: in the areas of oratorio, chamber music and Lieder singing, beside the most important works also many rare pieces, in styles ranging from Renaissance to present.

Hubert Saladin has also intensive activity as a voice trainer and a singing teacher (professional training SMPV), for example at the Freien Musikschule Zürich. He holds training post for Lieder interpretation at the Konservatorium Zürich.
