The Argentinean bass, Gaston Sister, began his musical training at the Conservatory of La Plata, his hometown. His interest in Baroque music led to the Conservatoire de Musique de Genève (CMA de Genève), where he obtained his degree in singing in the class of Beatrice Cramoix.
Gaston Sister then performed as a soloist and ensemble singer and collaborates with Ensemble Vocal de Lausanne (Director: Michel Corboz), Ensemble Orlando, la Commedia del Mondo, Les Musiciens du Louvre (Director: Marc Minkowski), the choirs of operas of Geneva and Lausanne or Elyma, with whom he participated in several recordingss and performed on various stages in Europe, Argentina and Japan. He recently recorded with Michel Corboz the solo bass part f the Mass in E flat major by F. Schubert (Mirare). He currently lives in Geneva, Switzerland. |
