Judith Spiesser (Soprano)

Born: 1982 - Munich, Bavaria, Germany

The German soprano, Judith Spiesser, began her studies at the Hamburg Stage School of Music, Dance and Drama with Yoshimitsu Haga and Eva-Maria Tearsson. In October 2004 she moved to the Munich Musikhochschule, studying with Fenna Kügel-Seifried and in the Lieder class of Juliane Banse. She participated in master-courses with Helmut Deutsch and Lioba Braun.

Judith Spiesser and appeared as Papagena in Die Zauberflöte, Queen of the Night in Die Zauberflöte (Young Bavarian Opera Company, 2011) and at the Nymphenburg Castle Concerts as the Dew Fairy in Hänsel und Gretel, the kitchen-maid in Igor Stravinsky’s Nightingale and as Barbarina in Le nozze di Figaro at the Munich Pasinger Fabrik.
