Logan Trotter (Soprano)

Born: USA

The American soorano, Logan Trotter, obtained her Bachelor of Arts degree in Music from University of North Carolina School of the Arts (2015-2019); and her Master of Music degree in Voice and Opera from New England Conservatory of Music (2019-2021). She was asemi-finalist in the 2024 Lyndon Woodside Oratorio-Solo Competition.

Logan Trotter is a versatile soprano known for her dynamic performances in opera, oratorio, chamber music and art song. During her time in North Carolina, she appeared as a soloist in J.S. Bach’s Cantata BWV 80, Antonio Vivaldi's Magnificat, John Rutter's Requiem, and A. Vivaldi's Gloria with the Magnolia Baroque Ensemble. She has sung with several opera companies including the Piedmont Opera Company, Greensboro Opera Company, A.J. Fletcher Opera, and New England Conservatory Opera. She has appeared in a range of productions, including Iphigénie en Tauride (Boston Baroque, 2023), and W.A. Mozart's Le nozze di Figaro (Handel & Haydn Society, 2022). She has also sung leading roles such as Zerlina in W.A. Mozart's Don Giovanni (Boston Summer Opera, 2024 and North Carolina Summer Opera, 2019) and Elisa in W.A. Mozart's Il re pastore (New England Conservatory Opera, 2021). In the choral realm, she is a sought-after soprano, actively performing with Handel & Haydn Society (Director: Harry Christophers), Boston Baroque (Director: Martin Pearlman), Odyssey Opera, and the Marsh Chapel Choir (since September 2022; Director: Scott Allen Jarrett). As a soloist, she has sung with the Marsh Chapel Choir and Marsh Chapel Collegium and many other churches throughout Boston. An avid collaborator, she has enjoyed sharing her love for music in recitals for various retirement homes throughout Boston.

In addition to her musical activities, Logan Trotter has worked as Recruiting Coordinator, Campus Programs at Wellington Management in Boston (September 2022-August 2023); Assistant Director of Admissions, Voice and Dance Representative at Boston Conservatory at Berklee (March-August 2024); In-House Counsel Recruiting - Search Coordinator at In-House Counsel Recruiting - Search Coordinator at Major, Lindsey & Africa in Boston (since August 2024). She currently lives in Boston, Massachusetts.
