The German soprano, Esther Tschimpke, sang at the age of 8 in the Mädchenchor Hannover, in which she later became a soloist. After completing her teaching degree at the Hochschule für Musik, Theater und Medien Hannover, where she majored in singing with Professor Mechthild Kerz, she began the winter semester 2019-2020 with a Master’s degree in “Freelance Singing” in the major class of Professor Markus Schäfer and since the summer semester 2021 with Professor Gudrun Pelker. She was also inspired by lessons with Ania Vegry and master-classes, including early music with Paul van Nevel.
Esther Tschimpke was hired as a temporary assistant by the Brahmschor Hannover, Eranos Ensemble, Das Vokalprojekt and Norddeutscher Figuralchor, among others, and also works as a singing teacher in and around Hannover. After participating in the Schola program, she has been a freelancer with the Rundfunkchor Berlin since 2021. Since 2017 she has been singing in the Collegium Vocale Hannover, where she regularly takes on solo tasks. Since January 2012, she is soprano 1 in Voktett Hannover.
