The German soprano, Friederike Urban, has been studying singing since 1992 with Adelheid Vogel at the College of Music and Drama in Leipzig. She was only ten years old when she made her first solo appearance with the Gewandhaus Children Choir.
Today (1995) Friederike Urban is a member of Helmuth Rilling’s Gächinger Kantorei and often performs as soloist in church concerts (at the Thomaskirche in Leipzig among other venues). She is also a member of Collegium Vocale Leipzig (Director: Michael Schönheit). |
