Molly Wanless (Soprano)

Born: March 21, 2001 - Milton, Wisconsin, USA

The American soprano, Molly Wanless, obtained her Bachelor of Music degree in Voice Performance from the University of Wisconsin-Whitewater (Class of 2022), where she studied with Brian Leeper. She is currently pursuing a Master of Music in Vocal Performance with Dr. Jamie Reimer at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln (UNL) (since May 2024; expected graduation: 2026).

Molly Wanless' recent engagements include Sister Constance in Francis Poulenc's Dialogues of the Carmelites and the titular role in Amahl and the Night Visitors with UNL Opera. She most recently performed with the Varna Music Academy as Adele in Die Fledermaus. She also ho performed the national anthem at the 2026 UNL Graduate Commencement. She has worked as a peer mentor at UW-Whitewater helping freshmen adjust to college, and as a summer school assistant (2016-2018). Her skills include music theory knowledge and understanding of art genres. She is currently Vice President of UW-Whitewater's American Choral Directors Association and has received several scholarships for her vocal and choral work.
