The German tenor, Michael Weigert, obtained his Magister Artium / Master degree in German philology, political science, art history from the University of Regensburg (November 1994-March 2004).
Michael Weigert is a member of the Amberger Oratorienchor (Director: Thomas Appel) and of the vocal quartet Spatzen-Quartett Regensburg (2nd tenor; from 2001) together with Oliver Rusin (1st tenor), Lorenz Renner (baritone) and Andreas Büchner (bass). He also performs as a concert soloist.
