The Polish-born mezzo-soprano, Ewa Zeuner (Ewa Krzak), received her vocal training at the Hochschule für Musik Carl Maria von Weber in Dresden with Professor Christian Elssner. She graduated from the concert singing classs in 2003 with honours. She also attended master-classes with Peter Schreier and Elisabeth Schwarzkopf.
Ewa Zeuner has been engaged by the Dresdner Bachchor and at the Semperoper Dresden. Church Music concerts have taken her to many German and international orchestras and ensembles, including the Dresdner Kreuzchor, Dresdner Kapellsolisten, Gächinger Kantorei Stuttgart, Capella Cracoviensis, and Cracow Philharmonic Orchestra. She has performed international songs in numerous recitals in Germany and other European countries. Her concert repertoire includes the great works of J.S. Bach, George Frideric Handel and W.A. Mozart, Felix Mendelssohn's oratorios, Verdi's Requiem as well as some works of contemporary music. At concerts and performances, she has worked together with Andrew Parrott, Helmuth Rilling, Helmut Branny, Andreas Spering, and Krzysztof Penderecki. |
